What is java-irremote?
java-irrmote is a set of Java bindings for accessing infrared remote controls.
Currently, the LIRC IR system is supported.
Features
* Enumerates all defined Infrared button events.
* Attach action callbacks to Infrared events.
* Includes Java Swing component for editing event bindings.
Test/Example Programs
A sample Swing application with the event binding editor and
callback procs is provided.
Requirements
Java 1.3 or better.
LIRC (available here).

Roadmap
Current plans:
Release 0.1 - This will be the first release,
real soon now! It's intended to support the 0.1
